Mobile homes are transported on oversize load trucks. The transport costs alone may amount to 15 to 20% of the price of your mobile home.

Transport costs vary depending on the size of the mobile home and the distance to be travelled.

The law and transport standards differ from one country to another within the European Union, and in general, permission must be sought from the local authorities. For example: It is easier and cheaper to transport a 4m wide mobile home in France than in Spain or Italy.

The price will be lower if you arrange to have another mobile home transported with your own. Certain oversize load trucks can actually transport two mobile homes (depending on the size of the models), which makes the price lower.
